President Obama Signs the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act
As earlier expected, President Obama on Tuesday, February 17, 2009 signed into law the $787 billion economic recovery package, otherwise known as the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
And with President Obama’s promise of transparency and accountability, the website Recovery.gov also went live today, a site that allows you to see exactly where your tax dollars are being spent as well as highlighting miletones that the Obama administration has achieved or is aiming to achieve.
For now, it remains unclear exactly how much eah state will receive, but be sure to check back for the update.
